Waste tire recycling plant opens in Kyzylorda
A waste tire recycling plant opened in Kyzylorda. Its production capacity allows processing 2.5 tons of tires per year. The final product will be used for manufacturing rubber crumb of high quality. The Kazakh-German joint venture is environment – friendly.
- We have prospects of additional import to Europe. The main market is southern Kazakhstan. The cities of Shymkent, Kyzylorda, Taraz, Almaty. Besides, we work for Astana; because ‘Expo-2017’ dedicated to green technologies and energy saving technologies will be held there.
The factory launched a separate production line of crumb rubber and subsoil irrigation tubes. Crumb rubber is an innovative product which strengthens asphalt pavement and minimizes costs of irrigation water. The factory`s capacity allows to produce up to 4 million meters of the pipes per year.
Galym AMREEV, DEPUTY GOVERNOR OF KYZYLORDA REGION:
- The most important thing is that the plant helps to solve the problem with recycling tires. There are a lot of tires in the country. Now they will be recycled according to this innovational technology.
The plant is unique because it helps to protect the environment. Before thousands of tons of old tires were dumped in landfills, buried in the ground or simply burned, causing irreparable damage to the environment. Now the recycled product will be used for its intended purpose.
